Tooling
I originally studied Architecture before switching to Art & Design.
I got my start in Advertising prior to discovering my passion for Data and the Social Sciences which lead me to the fields of Experience Design, Product Design, and DesignOps.
While my core remains Visual Design, I expanded my skills in areas such as Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Systems Thinking, and Taxonomy. This evolution helped uncover my fascination for orchestrating and designing customer and user interactions, as well as building, scaling, and leading design teams while focusing on efficiency and fostering an environment where high quality and successful work can flourish.
Strengths & Expertise
I thrive in owning the design function and taking responsibility for advancing design culture. While I consider myself a generalist, my core strengths are:
VISUAL & INTERACTION DESIGN
I have strong command of the fundamentals including Design History and Human Computer Interaction principles. My experience spans across branding, advertising, experience design, product design, design systems.
I’m able to combine visual design craft with sophisticated interaction design to deliver experiences that are both highly usable and emotionally resonant. It has always been important to me (even when managing and leading teams) to remain a hands-on contributor and focused on establishing high-quality standards.
EXPERIENCE ORCHESTRATION
As I gained experience, I went from simply focusing on a product to focusing on the way we participate in people’s moments, days, weeks, and years. From technical and usability metrics alone to including values and principles as new criteria for quality.
I enjoy envisioning and creating solutions in complex environments, customer experiences with many moving parts. Establishing an approach that requires crafting channels and touch-points intentionally as a system to support customers and their end-to-end experiences over time and in multiple contexts.
Information Architecture
In direct contrast to Visual Design, I'm passionate about what people don't see but what they experience without having to think about it.
My enthusiasm for IA was born while designing for multilingual and multicultural contexts. Ensuring content is not only organized and findable but also resonates with diverse audiences. My personal migration history — and needing to learn multiple languages — surely weighs in on why I have such affinity for designing the right content and creating accessible experiences.
Design Operations
I’m commmited to ensuring that design and business strategy are intentionally linked, and that the needs of design teams are met in a responsible and sustainable way.
I didn’t naturally grow into my a role in DesignOps. Competencies such as business acumen, program management, values and culture weren’t my priority early in my career. However, I soon discovered the importance of not only advocating for the experience of the customer, but also for designing the design team’s experience. I understand the importance of establishing processes, rituals, and structures that enable teams to deliver their best work.
Professional Migration
I spent my academic years on the West Coast of the United States — specifically in California and Oregon. I began my professional career in Los Angeles, then continued in New York before eventually jumping over the Atlantic to Europe.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I’ve worked on-site in 19 countries with approximately 7 languages.
I have been part of global brand and product launches in Europe and the American continents. Hiring and recruiting, as well as managing teams and stakeholders while successfully building systems and impactful solutions.
I thrive in different contexts, environments, and partnership models including:
IN-HOUSE
I’m energized by the challenges of recruiting, building, and leading high-performing design teams, as well as defining and executing a clear, impactful design vision and strategy. In global organizations, I thrive on the challenge of localizing brand positioning and visual systems across diverse cultural contexts, while thoughtfully adapting digital product experiences and value propositions to resonate in different regions.
The complexity and messiness of this work — combined with the opportunity to build trust-based relationships across cross-functional teams — are what truly motivate and drive me.
INDEPENDANT CONTRACTOR
I have extensive experience onboarding and integrating rapidly into an organization in order to enhance an existing team. I'm comfortable taking on a range of roles — from hands-on execution to leadership — with the aim of augmenting established design organizations and ensuring successfully delivery of short and long-term projects and objectives.
NEAR/OFF-SHORE
I have successfully partnered with U.S. and European companies as a remote extension of their teams. Through clear communication, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of ownership, I make distance effectively irrelevant. This approach allows me to leverage the dynamism and growing tech ecosystem in LATAM, while enabling the organizations I support to benefit from greater cost efficiency without compromising quality or productivity.
Previous Partnerships
The following is a partial list.
My professional journey has included roles agency-side and in-house working for multiple industries such as: Automotive, Entertainment (Music + Television), Finance, Retail & Consumer Goods, Technology, Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality.

Hobbies & Interests
My constant loosing battle: $pending too much mon€y on vinyl records and vintage instruments.

As a kid in Los Angeles I was heavily influenced by skate and surf culture, graffiti, and punk music. This left a mark and inspired my love for community, DIY, and design craft.
I have an affection for uncomplicated machines such as 2-storke motorcyle engines and automobiles with minimun electronics .

I suppose my love analog and simplicity comes naturally, especially when working in digital and using complex and intricate tools.
